The need to float a reputable islamic charitable organisation led to the birth of Zakaat and Awqaaf Amana Foundation. The foundation flagged off its activities 2013 and was incorporated in 2017 by Corporate Affairs Commission registration number RC : 110787.
The foundation has recorded many achievements with her beneficial activities such as public and Media enlightment on zakat, empowerment program, provision of relief for the needy and lots more.
The foundation has its headquarter in Ibadan, Oyo State with state branches in the south-west and the FCT with Repesentatives across Nigeria.
Aims & Objectives
👉 To instil in the mind of every Muslim the culture of giving zakat and sadaqaat.
👉 To enlighten Muslims on Assets and Properties on which zakat is due and other zakat issues.
👉 To assist individuals, group and companies in calculating and payment of zakat.
👉 To workout amount of Nisab and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
👉 To collect zakaat, sadaqaat, awqaaf and other free-will donations.
👉 To distribute Zakaat to the beneficiaries according to laid down principles of Islam.
👉 To undertake special fundraiser for health /welfare intervention programs.
👉 To provide robust platforms for payment of fidyah and diyyah.
👉 To receive grants from local and international Donors for positive impacts on the Ummah.
👉 To sponsor economic empowerment/ skill training to both individuals and potential Muslim entrepreneurs.
👉 To sponsor Islamic scholarship to meet special needs of the Ummah.
👉 To provide humanitarian aids to the people at large.
👉 To undertake special-need facilities to ease practising the Deen.
👉 To sponsor Islamic education and facilitate easy learning and teaching.
👉 To assist / act as islamic inheritance administrator on request by deceased family
👉 To acquire and manage a Muslim burial ground.
👉 To take up necessary actions which are beneficial to humanity in general.
